About the event

Join us for a night of cutting-edge biology and medicine. We’ve brought together four researchers from the University of Bergen and SLB to discuss the future of brain medicine, cancer research, and our "invisible roommates."

What’s on the menu? 🎤

🧠 Brain-derived blood extracellular vesicles as potential biomarkers in MS - Shamundeeswari Anandan (Dept. of Clinical Medicine, UiB)

Monitoring Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is vital but complex. Shamundeeswari shares her research on unique "messengers" from the brain that can cross into the blood, potentially serving as a window into the immune status of the central nervous system.

🤖 The future of brain medicine - Max Korbmacher (Dept. of Clinical Medicine, UiB)

AI isn't just for writing emails—it's transforming how we treat the human brain. Max explores the potential of AI in imaging neuroscience and neuroradiology, and how these digital tools might change the face of medicine forever.
