Gunnar Hartvigsen, PhD, is professor at the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway (UiT), Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Computer Science, and Head of the Health Informatics and -Technology group (HIT) (former: Medical Informatics & Telemedicine group (MI&T)). Hartvigsen is also professor 2/Forsker 1 (Senior researcher) at The Helgeland Hospital Trust/Helgelandssykehuset HF (from 2023). In 2018-2022, he was professor at Department of Health and Nursing Science, Faculty of Health- and Sport Science, University of Agder (UiA) (part time) and affiliated with the Centre for e-health, UiA.
