Beating age with multilingualism??
As we get older, our brains and cognition start to decline. However, some lifestyle factors may help to slow this process, including speaking multiple langauges! Why should this be? And are these effects the same for everyone? I will present some of my lab's research examining how degree of multilingual experience might independently confer potentially more positive cogntive outcomes in aging.
